This article presents evidence suggesting that a bifurcation of cosmic microwave background (CMB) into Northern and Southern hemispheres, separated by the ecliptic plane, is encrypted in the first twelve characters of the first verse of Genesis.
Introduction
A Judeo-Christian tradition is that God arranged the 304,805 character string of concatenated words in the Torah to reveal not only a spiritual message but also to encrypt fundamental information about the beginning of the universe and its development over time including the entirety of physics, chemistry, biology and human history… a message within a message.
In Genesis of the Reciprocal Fine Structure Constant by B. McLaughlin, several critical dimensionless numbers of physics/mathematics are predicted from the first 12 characters of the first verse of Genesis. Is it possible that this same string of 12 characters provides information about the ecliptic divide of the universe?
Background
In 1965 Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson of the Bell Laboratories discovered that the earth is bathed in a faint glow of radiation coming from every direction in space. This was good news for proponents of the Big Bang who had theorized that we should be immersed in the diffuse glow of ancient radiation dating back to the birth of the universe. This was also good news for theologians who were delighted with proof that the universe had a beginning. Ralph Alpher and Robert Herman had predicted this radiation in 1948 but no one paid much attention to their prediction. As an aside, this ubiquitous background radiation was bad news for the Steady State Theory of Fred Hoyle.
The cosmic microwave background radiation (CMB) has the spectrum of a black body at 2.725K. Subsequent to the discovery of the CMB, hundreds of experiments have been conducted to measure and characterize the signatures of this radiation. The high degree of uniformity throughout the observable universe together with a faint but measured anisotropy lend support to both the Big Bang and the Theory of Inflation.
Over the past two decades, however, some strange anomalies have appeared involving the ecliptic plane, that is, the plane carved out by the earth as it revolves around the Sun. This plane should be completely irrelevant and immaterial to the universe. After all, if our Milky Way was the size of the earth, our solar system would be the size of a DVD. Surely our solar system is just an insignificant speck in a universe vast beyond comprehension. Nevertheless, according to the most recent PLANCK data, a remarkable lack of power is observed in a direction toward the north ecliptic pole. Other mysteries are afoot as well.
CMB data analysis uses covariance matrix analysis with a χ2 statistic which measures the overall consistency of an observed function with a predefined model relative to the standard deviation of that model. The χ2 statistic can be used as a measure of fluctuation amplitudes when analyzing Q, V and W band information. Now, from the vantage of our Solar System, divide the universe into two hemispheres – northern ecliptic and southern ecliptic. The fluctuation amplitudes are given by H.K. Eriksen, et al, Asymmetries in the Cosmic Microwave Background Anisotropy Field, Table 2 as:

The universe appears to be divided in half with our solar system in the middle and the ecliptic providing the plane of division! This finding is particularly unnerving for the secular science community because it gives our Earth and its orbit places of physical importance in the universe, an idea that is completely contrary to the Copernican Principle. It’s bad enough that, in the fall of 1973 at the commemoration of the 500th birthday of Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun, Poland, Brandon Carter presented evidence that not one of the fundamental properties of the universe could be changed significantly without eliminating the possibility of life (the Anthropic Principle); he showed that man may not be at the physical center of the universe but he is at the philosophical center. But now scientists are also forced to wrestle with the idea that the geometric position of the earth and geometric orientation of the Earth’s orbit may actually play central roles in the history of the universe. For example, was a plane of bifurcation formed 13.7 billion years ago to mark the orientation of a solar system that would not exist for another 9 billion years?
Romans 1:20 tells us: “For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” If the ecliptic divide of the cosmos, with the earth, once again, near the center of the universe, is an example of God’s eternal power and divine nature, it is an example that is devastating to 20th century cosmology. The only way to salvage 20th century cosmology is to completely discredit all CMB data supporting the ecliptic divide.
In 1978 Robert Jastrow said: “For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.”

reading left to right as the Text is read from right to left. Each of the Hebrew characters is represented by a base-3 triplet (column vector) according to a rule that starts with Aleph as (000) and ends with Tsadey Final as (222). If these three matrices are arranged in a Rubik Cube configuration, fifteen 3 by 3 matrices are produced by taking slices through the cube. Each slice produces 8 matrices by rotation about various axes; dihedral group of order eight (D4). In this trial, only one matrix will be selected for each slice. We still find ourselves short by one 3 by 3 matrix in order to construct a single matrix of dimension 12. We will add a single 3 by 3 matrix representing the fourth three characters from the first verse of Genesis.
A 12 by 12 matrix M can be constructed from these four matrices as illustrated in Genesis of the Reciprocal Fine Structure Constant by B. McLaughlin. This matrix M is:

Now define X = MM*, Y = X2 and Z = X3 where M* is the transpose of M. X, Y and Z are each 12 by 12 matrices and each will have a characteristic equation with twelve coefficients. Let the coefficients for X, Y and Z be denoted by J1…J12, JJ1…JJ12 and JJJ1…JJJ12 respectively. Next form the following 6 by 6 matrix, designated as j1, from the 36 coefficients of the three characteristic equations?

This particular matrix is just one of 36! matrices that can be formed from the 36 coefficients. Now form the symmetric matrix k1 = j1 j1* and evaluate cosk1 = Cos[k1], sink1 = Sin[k1], p1 = Cos2[k1], q1 = Sin2[k1] and r1 = Sin[k1]Cos[k1]. These five expressions use the power series for Sin and Cos with ordinary powers replaced by matrix powers. The result is five, 6 by 6 symmetric matrices with the absolute value of each element between zero and one. Could CMB fluctuation amplitudes be encoded as elements of the five matrices while viewing the elements themselves as floating point numbers? In other words, the decimal point can be shifted to the right or left. Here is a sample finding:

Conclusions
The predicted values of the fluctuation amplitudes are in agreement with the values observed by H. K. Eriksen et al. Is this just one more serendipitous coincidence? Or have we decrypted a message within a message from the first verse of Genesis?
